Carl Diver

Carl Diver serves as the Faculty Research Lead in Advanced Materials & Manufacturing and holds the position of Professor of Innovative Manufacturing at The Manchester Metropolitan University since July 2018. Additionally, Carl is the Director of PrintCity MMU and a Reader in Industrial Digitalisation at the same institution. In parallel, Carl Diver functions as an Editorial Advisory Board Member for All3DP and serves on the Board of Directors for GAMBICA. Prior experience includes a Senior Lecturer at The University of Manchester and CEO of CDAMC in Ireland, with a focus on advanced manufacturing consulting. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Engineering, an MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Technology & Systems Management, and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering. Research and teaching areas encompass electrodischarge machining, industry 4.0, additive manufacturing, and advanced manufacturing design.
