Lauren Jackson's work experience includes various roles in the media industry. Lauren started as a Freelance Journalist for The Stage Media Company Ltd from 2011 to 2013, where they conducted interviews and responded to mail. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Freelance Journalist for Musical Theatre Review, where they compiled listings, reviewed performances, and conducted interviews. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Waitress at The Curious Pig in the Parlour, engaging customers and working as part of a team. In 2018, they joined Edinburgh International Television Festival as The Network 2018 delegate, attending talks, workshops, and masterclasses to build their skills. Lauren also worked as a Green Runner for BRITANNIA TV LIMITED that same year, helping to implement environmental goals for a production. From 2018 to 2020, they served as an Acquisitions Coordinator for All3Media International, and later became a Junior Scripted Content Executive from 2020 to 2021. Lauren then progressed to the role of Scripted Content Executive from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of VP Scripted Content at All3Media International, starting in 2023.
Lauren Jackson completed their undergraduate studies in English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford from 2014 to 2017. Lauren then pursued a Master's degree in Modern and Contemporary Writing at the University of East Anglia from 2017 to 2018, with a focus on Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing.
