Werner Lunow

Werner Lunow has a strong background in IT and cybersecurity. Werner currently holds the position of Villager at Team8's CISO Village, where they collaborate with senior executives and thought leaders in the industry to promote innovation in cybersecurity. Prior to this, they worked at Allan Gray Proprietary Limited for over 15 years, holding various roles such as Chief Information Security Officer and Manager of IT Security and Business Continuity. Werner also worked at 20twenty as a Country Infrastructure Manager and at Standard Chartered Bank as a Country IT Manager. Throughout their career, they gained experience in network engineering and management at organizations such as Old Mutual Bank, D&E Health Benefits, and SANParks.

Werner Lunow attended Pinelands High School from 1984 to 1989. Werner obtained a certification in CISM from ISACA in 2012.
