Eric Gay

Eric Gay is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in security, software engineering, and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Interim CISO at Paxos since March 2019, Eric oversees the security program, encompassing application and blockchain security, cloud security, governance, risk management, compliance (GRC), security operations, and IT. Previously, Eric held the title of CTO and Co-Founder at DerbyGames, where the company offered a regulated platform for horse racing gambling. Eric's engineering leadership includes roles as Director of Software Engineering at Willow Hotels, and various consultancy and engineering positions at Freelance, Overpeer, Spring Street Networks, and RollingStone.com. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ohio University.
