Kristen Howells

Kristen Howells joined as VP Finance, Corporate Controller at Allay Therapeutics in December 2022. She brings over 15 years of experience in technical and operational accounting with emphasis in process creation, system implementation, control documentation and building out accounting teams for growth organizations.

Prior to Allay, Kristen served as vice president, finance at ESCAPE Bio, a pharmaceutical company focused on neurodegenerative diseases. Before that she held various roles in finance as well as Chief of Staff at Accuray, a medical device company in the oncology space, and started her career as an auditor with Grant Thornton LLP.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Sonoma State University and holds a CPA license in the state of California.
