Jinsong Zhao

Jinsong Zhao serves as the Dean of the International Shipping Law School and a Professor of Law at East China University of Political Science and Law since April 2013. Concurrently, Jinsong Zhao is a Partner and Shipping Lawyer at AllBright Law Offices, focusing on maritime law cases such as shipbuilding contracts and ship sales. Previous academic roles include a professorship in Maritime Law at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where Jinsong Zhao directed the Ocean and Shipping Institute. Additionally, Jinsong Zhao worked as a PRC Legal Consultant for Holman Fenwick Willan LLP, specializing in maritime cases with Chinese elements. Jinsong Zhao holds a PhD in Maritime Collision from the University of Southampton and both an MSc in Maritime Studies and a BSc in Nautical Studies from Dalian Maritime University.
