Jessica Wakefield has over ten years of experience in human resources, employee learning and development, onboarding, recruitment, leadership, communication, change management, and team-building work. Jessica worked as a Learning and Development Manager at La Clinica from June 2013 to September 2021, where they developed an interpreter training program. Jessica also served as the Director of Talent Development at AllCare Health from March 2023 to present and previously worked as a Human Resources Manager there from September 2021 to March 2023. In addition, Jessica has their own training and consulting business, Jessica Wakefield Training and Consulting, where they offer services in leadership, communication, teamwork, coaching, human resources, and strategic planning. Jessica is certified in DISC, Driving Forces, and Mental Health First Aid.
Jessica Wakefield has a strong educational background. Jessica obtained their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Leadership from Bellevue University, graduating between the years 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Portland State University, completing their studies from 2004 to 2006. Jessica also holds an Associate's degree in General Studies from Lane Community College, where they attended from 2002 to 2004. Before their time at Lane Community College, they earned an Associate's degree in General Studies from the College of the Redwoods, which they attended from 1999 to 2001.
During their high school years, Jessica Wakefield attended Del Norte High School and obtained their High School Diploma from 1995 to 1998. Jessica'sstudies at Del Norte included Leadership, Drama, Speech, and Debate.
Additionally, Jessica has pursued further professional development by obtaining various certifications.
