Allyn Bove is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences since January 2015. Research interests include health equity in patients with osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal disorders, cost-effectiveness of physical therapy for orthopaedic conditions, clinical research on arthritic disorders, and innovative delivery methods for musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Allyn Bove has also been a PRN Physical Therapist at Pivot Physical Therapy since June 2010, providing coverage for both outpatient clinics and previously at acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings. Additionally, Allyn served as a PRN Home Health Physical Therapist for Advantage Home Health Services from February 2017 to May 2021 and worked as a Graduate Teaching Fellow and Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from August 2012 to December 2014. Allyn Bove earned a PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh, a DPT from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Health Sciences from Duquesne University.
