David Tupponce

David Tupponce, MD, currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Institute Operations at Allegheny Health Network, where operations for a physician and provider group across 550 sites are managed, generating $1 billion in net revenue. With extensive experience in healthcare leadership, David has previously held roles such as Hospital President, achieving a turnaround of a financially challenged hospital, and System COO at Central Maine Healthcare, overseeing operations of a three-hospital system. David's earlier positions include CEO roles at Tenet Healthcare and Vanguard Health Systems, as well as Chief Medical Information Officer at Holyoke Medical Center. An educator, David also contributed as Adjunct Faculty at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. David earned an MD from The George Washington University School of Medicine and a Master's in Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
