Jon Amelio

Jon Amelio is currently serving as the CIO/Director of IT for Union County, NC, taking on the responsibility of strategically utilizing technology to enhance services across various departments. With a background in leadership roles in both public education and management consulting, Jon has a wealth of experience in IT management, including roles at companies such as Allegheny Intermediate Unit and CLG. Jon has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Strayer University and has a strong educational background with an MBA from Robert Morris University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
