Keith Hainer

Keith Hainer is the Chief Executive Officer of Allegheny Metallurgical, overseeing the development of a new coal mining complex in Volga, WV since March 2019. Hainer also serves as President of Spearfish Engineering, Consulting & Development since January 2018. Previously, Hainer held the position of EVP and Chief Operating Officer at Contura Energy, managing extensive coal production across multiple states. Hainer's extensive background includes leadership roles at Alpha Natural Resources and Massey Energy, where responsibilities encompassed significant coal production management, technical services, and maintenance operations. Educational achievements include an MBA and a Master's in Engineering Management from Marshall University, along with Bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Physics from West Virginia University Institute of Technology.
