Wade Newell

Wade Newell is a highly experienced Senior Lead Hardware Engineer with a robust background in hardware engineering, spanning from 1989 to the present. Currently at Allegion since May 2021, Wade previously held positions at Viavi Solutions, including Principal Hardware Architect and Senior Engineering Manager, where leadership of a global hardware team and design of broadband telecommunications equipment were key responsibilities. Prior roles include Principal Hardware Engineer at Alphion Corp, where Wade contributed to GPON systems development, and at Eastern Research Inc., focusing on OX8000 telecommunications switch architecture. Earlier experience includes management and technical responsibilities at Tellium and Force Inc., specializing in optical networking and high-speed digital module designs. Wade holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
