Steve Laker

Steve Laker is an accomplished data facilities management professional with extensive experience in overseeing data center operations. Since February 2012, Steve has served as the Manager of Data Facilities Management at Allegis Group, where involvement includes the buildout of a new data center on the UMBC campus. Prior to this role, from February 1996 to January 2011, Steve held the position of Vice President of Data Facilities Management at Legg Mason, effectively managing a team specializing in critical data center facilities operations, including fire protection, cooling, power systems, and equipment monitoring. Steve's educational background includes studies at Catonsville Community College.
