Brian T. Davis

Brian T. Davis is a Managing Director based in our New York office and a Partner with Major, Lindsey & Africa. He is particularly skilled in corporate, corporate finance, capital markets, private equity, hedge fund, compliance, and tax searches for major financial institutions, broker-dealers, hedge funds, private-equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and law firms.

Brian has been involved in the New York financial services community for many years, working with major firms including TPG Capital, Fortress Investment Group, D.E. Shaw & Co., Facebook.com, Silver Point Capital, The Church Pension Group, Maverick Capital, and Providence Equity Partners. He has served as General Counsel to a publicly held Internet company and was a Senior Partner in a mid-sized New York law firm specializing in corporate, finance, tax, and securities law.

Brian earned his LL.M. (in taxation) from New York University School of Law, his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and his B.A. from Fordham University. Brian is an active member of the Board of Trustees of an all girls' school in the Bronx, NY. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling to various European and Asian capitals. He is an avid rugby and football fan.
