Alan Burns

Alan Burns is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Director of DevOps at Allego since June 2022, overseeing a dynamic team within the EMEA business. Prior to this role, Alan held various positions at Daisy Group, including DevOps Manager and Cloud Platform Engineering Team Lead, where responsibilities involved implementing modern DevOps technologies and managing the Cloud Platform Engineering Team. With a foundation in infrastructure and support roles dating back to 2003, Alan has also actively contributed to the AWS North East User Group and VMware User Group as a leader, significantly increasing membership and engagement. Academic qualifications include an HNC in IT Support from the University of Sunderland.
