Giuseppe Bonfrate

Giuseppe Bonfrate is a Principal Digital Design Engineer at Allegro MicroSystems, leading the definition and development of digital architecture for high voltage power products, specifically SiC and GaN gate drivers, since June 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Digital Design Engineer at Qualcomm, focusing on security IP and low power design, as well as positions in digital design and debug during the formative years of his career. Giuseppe also operated a freelance R&D company, specializing in PCB design and hardware counseling, contributing to various projects such as Wi-Fi smart buttons and expansion boards for Raspberry Pi. His academic background includes a Laurea Magistrale in Microelectronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Ingegneria Elettronica, both from Politecnico di Torino, along with experience as a teaching assistant in digital electronics laboratories.
