Srini Sekar

Srini Sekar has a diverse work experience in various roles related to sales, inventory, and operations planning. Srini currently works as the Senior Director - Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) at Allegro MicroSystems, where they lead demand and supply planning teams and drives consensus in decision-making processes. In this role, they focus on improving customer satisfaction, achieving financial targets, and managing inventory and cost management.

Prior to this, Srini held the position of Vice President - Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) at Emerald EMS for a brief period in 2022.

Srini also worked at Sensata Technologies, Inc. for several years, starting as the Global Demand Planning Manager in 2008 and eventually becoming the Global Supply Chain Director for the Heavy Truck & Off Road Business Unit in 2019. In their role as the Global Supply Chain Director, Srini was responsible for managing the supply chain operations of the business unit.

Additionally, Srini worked at Sensata Technologies as the Director - Global Customer Service, where they managed customer service teams across multiple regions and led initiatives to transform the customer service function, including implementing a Service Cloud CRM and robotic process automation. Srini also successfully integrated the customer service organizations of acquired businesses without impacting product delivery and communication. Prior to this role, they held positions as the Director of Customer Relations for the Americas region and as a Forecast & Market Segment Manager.

Furthermore, Srini served as a Board Member for the Industrial Advisory Board at UMass Amherst's Mechanical & Industrial Engineering department starting in 2009.

Srini Sekar earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani in 1990. Srini then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1992.
