Brad Young

Brad Young is a highly experienced professional in ecological project management and conservation. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at Allen Engineering and Science since October 2017, Brad Young manages various ecological projects, including significant stream restoration and hydrologic restoration efforts. Prior to this role, Brad Young was the Executive Director of the Mississippi Wildlife Federation from April 2013 to October 2017, where leadership focused on advocacy for conservation and collaboration with government officials. Additionally, from June 2002 to April 2013, Brad Young worked as a Conservation Resources Biologist at the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, leading initiatives for the reestablishment of the black bear in Mississippi. Brad Young holds a Master of Science in Forest Ecology and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology, both from Mississippi State University.
