David Fetrow

David Fetrow is an experienced information systems engineer and application engineer with a career spanning over three decades in various roles related to systems administration and infrastructure management. Currently serving at the Allen Institute since April 2024, David's previous positions include roles at Altius Institute for Biomedical Sciences and Morgan Stanley, with a strong technical background in Linux/Storage administration and application development. David has held significant responsibilities at institutions such as the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation and the Applied Physics Lab at the University of Washington. Educationally, David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Washington and has a foundational background in music and science from Stadium High School in Tacoma. Notable accomplishments include leading Stornext upgrades and extensive experience with both private and public cloud environments.
