Huong Marcero (Cindy)

Huong (Cindy) Marcero has extensive work experience in the field of special education teaching. Huong (Cindy) began their career as a Special Education Teacher at Westwood Community Schools in 2005 and worked there until 2008. Following this, they joined Allen Park Public Schools in 2008 and held multiple roles, including being a Special Education Teacher at the high school level in Mathematics. Currently, they are serving as the APMS Department Head for Special Services at Allen Park Public Schools.

Huong (Cindy) Marcero earned a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Science in Education with a specialization in LD/EI Endorsement/Special Education from the University of Detroit Mercy. Huong (Cindy) attended the institution from 2002 to 2005. Following their undergraduate studies, Huong went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Master of Arts - Instruction & Curriculum from the University of Detroit Mercy. Huong (Cindy) completed their postgraduate education from 2008 to 2011.
