Allen-Stevenson School
Camilla Iturralde is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching Spanish at various educational levels. Currently serving as a Spanish Teacher at The Allen-Stevenson School since September 2015 and as a High School Spanish Teacher in the Colonial School District since June 2014, Camilla implements diverse lesson plans and assessment methods tailored to meet the needs of students. Previous roles include Summer School Spanish Teacher and Student Teacher in middle school settings, focusing on linguistically and culturally diverse students. Camilla holds a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Rutgers Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Rutgers University. Additional experience includes volunteering at Hospital San Juan de Dios and serving as a Conversation Partner for non-English speaking adults.
