Allen-Stevenson School
Sophie-Anne Dwyer is an experienced educator with a robust background in early childhood education. Currently serving as a Second Grade Teacher and Associate Third Grade Teacher at Allen-Stevenson School since August 2010, Sophie-Anne has also held the position of Associate Wellness Teacher at Columbia University from August 2008 to June 2010 and worked as a Kindergarten Teacher with the NYC Department of Education from September 2003 to June 2007, specializing in Gifted and Talented education. Sophie-Anne holds a Master of Arts in Physical Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, obtained between 2007 and 2009, and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education as well as Psychology from New York University, earned from 2000 to 2003.
