Dana McCraw

Dana McCraw, M.Ed, currently serves as a Second Grade Teacher at Metro Nashville Public Schools since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles as an English Language Assistant with CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange and a Student Teacher at Metro Nashville Public Schools, both in early 2023 and 2022, respectively. Dana worked as a Teacher Resources Assistant with Global Teaching Partners, where responsibilities involved communication with international applicants and managing data related to teacher recruitment. Other key roles include a Virtual Learning Resource Development Intern at the CEDI Lab - UNC-CH SILS, and Communications Coordinator for Carolina Navigators at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Early career experiences include leadership positions at the YMCA of the Triangle as a Female Counselor Coordinator and Camp Counselor. Dana holds a Master of Education from Vanderbilt Peabody College and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, alongside various international education experiences.
