Neal Hanks

Neal began his career with Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks, Realtors® in 1987 and has served in numerous roles within the firm. He was named its President in 1999 and has driven the company to its present-day success as the No. 1 real estate company in Western North Carolina with 18 residential offices and more than 400 Realtors. The recent partnership with Allen Tate and Howard Hanna Real Estate Services makes Beverly-Hanks a part of the nation's No. 1 privately owned real estate company.

Neal has held numerous leadership roles within the industry including serving as the President of the Asheville Board of Realtors. He regularly participates in industry forums and CEO groups and has been a frequent speaker at real estate conferences. As a prominent leader within the Western North Carolina region, Neal currently serves as an executive committee member of Eblen Charities and as executive board member of Daniel Boone Council of Boy Scouts of America. In the past, he has served as campaign chair of United Way Asheville/Buncombe County, and board member of First Citizens Bank, A-B Tech Foundation, and Mission Health Foundation, among others.

Neal graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in real estate brokerage and finance. He and his wife Amy and their four children reside in South Asheville. He is an avid outdoorsman and adventurer.
