Matthew Mullen

Matthew Mullen is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Allendale Public Schools since August 2021. Previously, Matthew held the position of Middle School Science Teacher at West Ottawa Public Schools, where responsibilities included designing and implementing rigorous science lessons and promoting positive social-emotional strategies. Prior experience includes serving as a CTE Teacher at Mount Ogden Junior High, where Matthew led the CTE Department and significantly increased enrollment in the engineering program. Matthew started their career as a 6th Grade Teacher at Ogden Public School District, focusing on general education and developing cross-curricular lessons. Matthew holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the American College of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University.
