Arno Den Toom

Arno den Toom is currently serving on the Industry Advisory Board at The University of Manchester and as a Plant Biology LEO Facility Definition Team Member for the European Space Agency, focusing on the development of scientific requirements related to plant studies in Low Earth Orbit. With a strong background in space biology, Arno den Toom has been consulting for ArSa Consultancy since 2016, specializing in the intersection of space and biology. Arno den Toom's experience includes key positions at Allente, Bejo Zaden, and previously at Syngenta, where responsibilities ranged from data stewardship to maintaining germplasm quality in flower genetics. Arno den Toom's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Plant Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research and specialized training in exobiology at the European Space Agency University.
