La' Akea Siverts

La' Akea Siverts has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They began their career at REI as a Cashier in 2005. In 2001, they joined the University of Washington as a Research Scientist II, where they gained expertise in transgenic laboratory techniques and colony maintenance. From 2016 to 2020, La' Akea worked at the Allen Institute as a Research Associate III, focusing on molecular cloning techniques and cell transfection. In 2020, they joined Cajal Neuroscience as an Associate Scientist, gradually taking on the role of Head of Laboratory Operations.
