Steven Desmond has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Steven started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Student Associate at Merck, where they focused on identifying and improving inefficiencies in manufacturing facilities. Steven later joined Johnson & Johnson as a Mechanical Engineering Associate, where they built a package integrity testing system to meet FDA compliance standards. At Xergy Inc, Steven worked as a Mechanical Engineering Associate Consultant and successfully designed, built, and tested a new desalination system using advanced polymer membranes. Steven then joined General Dynamics as a Systems Engineer I, providing technical input on the design and installation of the US Navy's AEGIS missile defense system. As a Lead Engineer at Oasis Systems LLC, Steven led a team in the development of counter-drone systems for the US Air Force. Currently, they are working at Allentown, LLC as a Senior Project Engineer, leading a cross-company and cross-discipline team to design and manufacture cutting-edge laboratory animal research and biomedical device systems for pharmaceutical and academic organizations worldwide.

Steven Desmond obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware between 2012 and 2016. Steven then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General topics, from St. Bonaventure University from 2018 to 2021.
