Alan Faz

Alan Faz is a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer at RECARO Aircraft Seating, with previous roles at Rocket Lab as a Senior Spacecraft Composites Project Engineer and at Toray Advanced Composites as a Technical Service Engineer. Alan has extensive experience in advanced composites, having led development and testing of prepreg systems and compliance with AS9100 standards. Additionally, Alan has served in various leadership capacities at Cal Poly, including as Assistant Director of the College of Engineering and as a member of the ASI Board of Directors, where responsibilities included finance, policy revisions, and diversity initiatives. Alan holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Spanish from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
