Laurel Spiegelthal

Laurel Spiegelthal is an experienced educator currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at Allentown School District since August 2022. Prior to this role, Laurel was a 4th Grade Long-Term Substitute Teacher at Quakertown Community School District and worked as an Elementary-level Building Substitute Teacher with ESS. Laurel's teaching background includes a significant tenure as a 3rd Grade Teacher in Virginia, where valuable technological skills were developed during the pandemic. Additional experience includes teaching summer school, managing the Student Virginia Education Association at the University of Virginia, and serving as Managing Editor of a university newspaper. Laurel holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, along with dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Youth and Social Innovation, all from the University of Virginia.
