Mimi Tang

Mimi Tang is an esteemed director at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, specializing in allergy translation and allergy immunology, with a longstanding commitment to developing future clinicians and researchers. As Interim CEO and Chief Scientific Officer at Prota Therapeutics Pty Ltd since 2017, Mimi has pioneered a probiotic immunotherapy platform for food allergies, drawing on over 25 years of experience treating children with allergic disorders. Additionally, Mimi serves as a Consultant Immunologist Allergist and inaugural Director of the Department of Allergy and Immunology at The Royal Children's Hospital, where a merger led to their leadership role in 2006.
