Alex Thompson

Alex Thompson is a seasoned professional in clinical research and medicine with extensive experience since 1997. Currently serving as a Clinical Training Specialist and Senior Clinical Research Physician at MAC Clinical Research since July 2016, Alex previously held the position of Principal Investigator at RCR Aspect from December 2002 to May 2016, overseeing clinical trials for investigative medicinal products. Additional roles include Section 12(2) Approved Doctor at Wye Valley NHS Trust from March 2004 to March 2014, GPwSI in Substance Misuse at DASH, Hereford from 2004 to 2009, and Forensic Medical Examiner for West Mercia Constabulary from October 2002 to December 2008. Alex Thompson's medical training includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) obtained from London Hospital Medical College from 1989 to 1994.
