Kees Leenhouts

Kees Leenhouts is a seasoned biopharmaceutical professional with extensive experience in the development of innovative therapies and vaccines. As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Allero Therapeutics since November 2016, Kees has led the development of advanced immunotherapies utilizing proprietary SOMIT technology. Previously, Kees was the Business Owner of KC Biopharmaceutical & Biotechnology Consultancy, providing expert guidance to research-driven start-ups in the life sciences sector. Kees has also held significant roles as Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Mucosis, where mucosal vaccines were developed, and as Project Manager at Biomade Technology Foundation. Previous academic roles included Senior Researcher at the University of Groningen and Guest Scientist at ICGEB. Kees holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Groningen and a Master's degree in Biology from Leiden University.
