Leighton Smith

Leighton Smith currently serves as a Building Performance Engineer at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, focusing on performance and parametric modelling related to solar, daylight, carbon, comfort, and microclimate while supporting project architects in developing environmental strategies. Previously, Leighton held the position of Senior Sustainability Consultant - Environmental Design at EVORA Global, where strategic Net Zero Carbon pathways were implemented for UK and European real estate organizations. Earlier roles at Hoare Lea included Senior Sustainability Consultant, where Leighton directed concept design environmental strategies aligned with Net Zero Carbon policy, and as a Sustainability Consultant, developing energy strategies and performing carbon analysis. Leighton's professional background also includes experience in architectural exchange at Broadway Malyan and sales at Ralph Lauren, complemented by internships and placements that focused on environmental consulting and planning. Leighton holds an MSc in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Portsmouth.
