Dewald Smit

Dewald Smit is a seasoned professional in the field of control systems engineering with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Senior Control System Engineer at Alliance Automation since March 2022, Dewald previously held various roles at Festo South Africa, including Application Engineer and Sales Engineer, from October 2016 to March 2022. Prior to that, Dewald worked as a C&I Engineer at Logichem and as an Application Engineer at SA Power Services (Pty) Ltd. Dewald holds a Diploma in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology, obtained between 2008 and 2012.
