Gary Xia

Gary Xia is an experienced Engineering Project Manager at Alliance Automation, where responsibilities include managing projects from feasibility studies to execution and handover, alongside business development and client relationship management. Prior to this role, Gary served as a Senior Project Engineer at Calibre, overseeing technology, infrastructure, and mining projects while managing multidisciplinary teams. Additional experience includes positions as a Senior Electrical/Controls System Engineer and Control System Engineer, where responsibilities ranged from leading design teams to PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming. Earlier in their career, Gary worked as a Project Engineer focused on software development for PLC and DCS systems. Gary holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from The University of Auckland and a Diploma of Business from the Southern Institute of Technology.
