Alex Khoo

Alex Khoo has extensive work experience in the field of information systems audit and security risk.

Alex started their career as a Consultant at Deloitte in 2007 and worked there until 2009. Alex then took on the role of Manager at Deloitte from 2010 to 2013.

In 2013, they joined Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad as an AVP, Information Systems Audit, and worked there until 2015. Alex then returned to Deloitte and worked as a Senior Manager from 2015 to 2020.

After that, they moved to Standard Chartered GBS and served as a Senior Manager, Third Party Security Risk from 2020 to 2022.

Currently, they are the Vice President, Information Systems Audit at Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad, where they started working in September 2022.

Alex Khoo studied Business Information Systems at the University of Portsmouth from 2003 to 2006, focusing on Database Systems, Project Management, and Information Systems Management. In addition to their degree, Alex has obtained several certifications in the field of information systems, including Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), ISO 27001 Provisional Auditor, and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
