Maria Luisa Pineda, PhD, is the CEO and cofounder of Envisagenics, Inc., a bioinformatics company focused on developing predictive analytics platforms for identifying new treatments. In addition to this role, Maria serves as Vice Chair of the Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, collaborating with industry leaders to advance the organization's goals. Maria's experience also includes serving as a Life Science Investment Intern at Golden Seeds, a consultant for Canrock Ventures, and a doctoral student at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, where research centered on addiction mechanisms in lung carcinoma. Educational credentials include a PhD in Biological Sciences from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, a BS in Molecular Biology from Barry University, and participation in the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Fellowship Program.
