Alliance for Children's Rights
Victoria Yurkins currently serves as the TAY Program Coordinator and previously held the position of TAY Legal Assistant at the Alliance for Children's Rights since September 2021. Prior experience includes the role of Foster Youth Voice Representative at the Los Angeles County Office of Education from June 2020 to September 2021, where insight was provided on the challenges faced by foster youth to influence external policies. Victoria's background also includes serving as a Program Assistant/Peer Mentor at Norco College, a Resident Manager at Interfaith Community Services, and an Assistant Manager at Goodwill Southern California. Victoria holds a Master of Social Work from California Baptist University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of California, Riverside, and an Associate of Arts from Norco College.

Alliance for Children's Rights
The Alliance for Children’s Rights is a nonprofit legal services organization that protects the rights of impoverished, abused and neglected children in Los Angeles County. We advocate for healthcare, education and financial support for families created by adoption, foster care and guardianship. We also address the needs of foster youth leaving care without a permanent family. Whenever possible, we remedy system wide issues through policy reform. Our clients include children in foster care, runaway and emancipating youth, and relative and non-relative caregivers. With the help of pro bono attorneys, we have assisted 125,000 families to achieve safe, stable homes, healthcare and the education children need to succeed in school and in life.
