Johanna Nyman is a seasoned professional in the field of environmental policy and finance, currently serving as the Head of Inclusive Green Finance at the Alliance for Financial Inclusion since April 2019. In this role, Johanna has established and leads the Inclusive Green Finance workstream, provides policy support to central banks, and manages program operations and funding relationships. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Analyst at the Institute for European Environmental Policy, where Johanna contributed to climate change research and environmental governance projects, and as Campaigns Coordinator at the Environmental Justice Foundation, where Johanna led campaigns on climate security. Additionally, Johanna held the position of President at the European Youth Forum, representing a wide network of youth organizations. Johanna holds multiple advanced degrees in Environmental Studies and Public Administration from the University of Helsinki and Cornell University.
