Alliance for Living
Sharanya Thanapathy is a dedicated public health professional with a Master of Public Health degree from SRM IST Chennai and a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Currently serving as a Community Health Worker at Alliance for Living since January 2022, Sharanya has previously held roles as a Researcher at the Citizen Consumer and Civic Action Group, where work focused on solid waste management advocacy in Chennai, and as a Research Assistant at the Public Health Foundation of India, contributing to village health committee engagement research. Additional experience includes internship research on health disparities with SOCHARA - India and various positions as a Physician Assistant in prestigious hospitals, providing clinical support in gynecology, cardiology, and oncology.
