Steve May

Steve May is the Chair and Co-Founder at Alliance for OpenUSD (AOUSD). With a background in computer and information science, Steve has held various technical and supervisory roles at Pixar Animation Studios, contributing to popular films such as Brave, Up, and Cars. Steve also serves as a board member at The Walt Disney Studios, Disney Research Studios, and is a committee member at Visual Effects Society. Currently, Steve is a part of the Feature, Short, and Student Animated Film Jury at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In addition, Steve has experience in academia as a Senior Lecturer at The Ohio State University and as a Graphics Research Specialist focusing on computer animation software development.
