Alliance for Workforce Development is the America's Job Center of California and One-Stop Employment Center Service Provider for Butte, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Plumas, and Sierra Counties. As a nonprofit dedicated to serving the needs of the community, AFWD's employees strive everyday to improve the lives of job-seekers through training and employment, the functionality of businesses with valuable employees, and the Rural Northern California Region with economy-bolstering objectives. AFWD's mission is to function as a regional nonprofit providing workforce development and human resource services; and enhancing the quality of life throughout our communities.
