Carter Dufrane

Carter DuFrane has extensive experience in clinical trial operations, currently serving as Executive Director of Clinical Trial Operations at Alliance Foundation Trials, LLC since June 2014. In this role, Carter leads Phase II and III Oncology studies, managing CROs, vendors, and integrated data centers while overseeing all clinical operations. Previous positions include Trial Document Specialist at Novartis, where responsibilities included maintaining trial master files and submitting regulatory packages, and Research Assistant II at Brigham and Women's Hospital, with a focus on study start-up for multicenter trials. Additionally, Carter has experience in emergency department operations from Massachusetts General Hospital. Carter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, obtained in 2008.
