Shannon Gilbert, MA, LCMHC, CCM, currently serves as a Utilization Management Care Manager at Alliance Health since November 2021, having previously held various roles at Cardinal Innovations Healthcare from March 2016 to November 2021, including State Hospital Care Coordinator and Complex Care Coordinator. Earlier experience includes positions as an Intensive In Home Therapist at Monarch and Echelon Care, where Shannon provided specialized treatment services for at-risk youth and their families. Additional internships at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, Bridge Jobs Program, and Mecklenburg County Central Jail involved providing counseling and support to diverse populations. Shannon holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, complemented by dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
