William Farina

William Farina, PT, DPT, MBA has a diverse work experience in the field of rehabilitation services. William currently holds the position of Corporate Director for Rehabilitation Services and Clinical Reimbursement at Alliance Health & Human Services since October 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Massachusetts Lowell starting from September 2018. William also served as an Adjunct Faculty at Franklin Pierce University from November 2015 to September 2019.

Before their academic roles, William worked as the Principal Owner of Terapia Consulting, LLC, a therapy consultation company, from May 2014 to September 2017. William was responsible for improving and expanding therapy services for clients.

From September 2012 to May 2014, William served as the Corporate Director for Rehabilitation Services at Athena Healthcare Systems, overseeing rehabilitation services for multiple skilled nursing facilities. Earlier, they held the position of Vice President for Rehabilitation Services at Radius Management Services from July 2006 to September 2012, managing in-house therapy operations for skilled nursing facilities and LTAC hospitals.

William also has experience in academia, as they served as an Adjunct Faculty and PT Advisory Board Member at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell from January 2007 to June 2012.

Prior to their career in management and academia, William held the positions of Rehab Director at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center from 1999 to 2006, and Rehab Director at Cambridge Health Alliance from 1990 to 1999.

William Farina, PT, DPT, MBA has an education history that includes a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, earned between 1981 and 1985. William later pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons University, completing it between 2003 and 2005. Additionally, in the years between 1986 and 1991, William Farina also obtained an MBA degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
