Michael Turner

Michael Turner is an experienced logistics and transport professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Regional Transport General Manager at Alliance Healthcare since May 2020, Michael has a comprehensive background in logistics management, having previously held roles such as Logistics Manager and Fleet and Transport Manager at the same company. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Wincanton, where Michael functioned as General Manager (South) within the Construction Business Unit, overseeing multiple depots and key accounts. Earlier career positions include General Manager and Transport Logistics Manager at RDL Distribution Limited and crucial transport supervisory roles at Redland Distribution, contributing to the establishment of new operations and depot management. Michael began the career journey at Marks and Spencer, where foundational skills in sales and warehouse operations were developed while pursuing a BSc Hons in Mathematics from Northumbria University from 1990 to 1993.
