James Connolly

James Connolly is an experienced radiology professional currently serving as the Unit Manager at Alliance Medical Diagnostic Imaging Ltd since August 2021. Connolly has played a pivotal role in the development of a new service in the north west region and is actively involved in quality and risk management within the Radiology Department at Sligo Kingsbridge Hospital. Prior to this, Connolly held senior radiographer positions at Hermitage Medical Clinic, Affidea, and InHealth, gaining extensive expertise in MRI, CT, X-ray, and Dexa. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from University College Dublin and a Master's degree in Diagnostic Radiography from Teesside University, complemented by a Professional Diploma in Leadership and Management. Connolly's background also features roles in health promotion and sales, showcasing a diverse skill set within the healthcare sector.
