Sharon Ransommd

Sharon Ransom, MD, is an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist currently serving at Los Alamos Medical Center since July 2021, where access to reproductive healthcare is prioritized. In addition to clinical practice, Sharon Ransom serves as Vice-President on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Women's Law Center, advocating for women's rights concerning reproductive health, economic security, and gender discrimination since January 2023. Sharon Ransom also works as a Locum Tenens in Obstetrics and Gynecology across New Mexico. With an extensive background in reproductive healthcare provided in various capacities at institutions such as the International Partnership for Reproductive Health and Holy Cross Hospital, Sharon Ransom holds an MD from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine (1996) and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Tennessee State University (1989).
