Nick A. Carter

Nick Carter is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Non-executive Chair at Tacora Resources Inc. since January 2019, Carter also holds a directorship at Alliance Resource Partners LP, a position held since April 2015. Previously, Carter served as a Director for Community Trust BanCorp, Inc. from April 2010 to January 2022, and as President and COO of Natural Resource Partners from October 2002 until retirement in September 2014. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a Juris Doctorate in Agricultural Economics and Lawyering from the University of Kentucky, as well as an MBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
